Monday, December 31st 2012 CUM-A-DISCO NYE

CUM-A-DISCO New Year’s Eve is now sold out. Thank you for the support! Sorry if you couldn’t get a ticket, there might be some on the door for sale on the night but we can’t guarantee it.

For those who are going to make it in, expect a near “Battle Royal” musical combativeness against those crazy CUM boys (minus the submachine guns shooting, grenades explosions, and slashing of throats with Samurai swords) and don’t forget the metallic dress-code!  We also have a special treat from the land of Zubrowka, pierogi and football hyper-violence: multitalented DJ-promoter-graphic-web designer and top 100 “Master Chef Poland” extraordinaire Rado Bogash . He’s one of the best DJs we’ve ever had the pleasure to play side by side and we can’t wait to be spinning b2b on the night again.

Here’s a mix from Rado from a few months ago, as eclectic and enticing as ever, enjoy!

See you  on the dancefloor!

Merry Christmas!

Wow, another amazing party last week, thank you all beautiful people who made it down to Bar Kino (nice venue, eh?), and how good was Gatto Fritto’s set?
Here are some pictures from the Xmas knees-up  (sorry if some of them are slightly off focus…we were having too much fun!)
But most importantly here’s more than 2 hours of solid no-nonsense electronic music from last week’s Comadisco, courtesy of our favourite Fried Cat…
See you on the NYE dancefloor!

Friday 14th December COMADISCO Xmas knees-up with GATTO FRITTO!

14th Dec 12 Comadisco

Last November we relaunched our monthly night at Lumiere (remember?) on Chatsworth Road in Clapton.
Since then we’ve had some amazing parties and picked up a few new comrades along the way.

To mark (almost) a year anniversary, we have gone back to the beginning and hiring Mr.Gatto Fritto again for our Christmas Rave on Friday 14th December. Those who attended our first party would remember how incredible that fried cat was. He destroyed Clapton that night. One punter was so high on his music that he jumped to the neighbours’ garden and couldn’t get back up. The homeowner soon woke up to find this guy dancing in his back garden and threatened to call the police and close our party. We made it to 6am as planned though… Memories!Anyway, we are very very excited to have him play at COMADISCO again and he promised he’ll be bringing only the finest from his vast vinyl vault on the night. You will also hear us, Future Sound of Clapton, bringing our sexy blend of titanic techno, northern new wave, astral disco and pagan house music with a punchy dash of guilty pop. And at last but not least our decoration wing, Moist Yet Workable, will be working their lovely mouths to blow lots of balloons on the night too.

We have secured a brand new space in Homerton/Clapton area for this party. Small, unique and undone. Just the way we like it. As usual the location will be revealed on the day of the event.

See you on the dancefloor (with bells on)!

News news news

We’re really excited about the venue for our COMADISCO Christmas knees-up on Friday 14th of December! It’s a new space in the Homerton-Hackney Central area, we have a late license, we’ve arranged a crystal-clear d&b sound-system and we’ll be joined on the decks by Gatto Fritto (International Feel) for yours truly.

Now, last Friday  was a lot of fun, we must say the 12″ of Pleasure vs COMADISCO experiment went really well, so well in fact, that we carried on until the morning with an after-party down the road. Thank you to all that came and boogied with us literally all night and hats off to Tom and Ben from 12″ OP for the fun B2B session!

This Saturday we’ll be bringing our COMADISCO magic to the New Empowering Church (1a Westgate St, E8 3RL) for the Making Waves Xmas Party, it will be a more disco-ey affair and we’ll be joined by Pearl Flash for another back 2 back musical journey. Get your tickets from here.

See you on the dance-floor!
