It’s almost time! We hope that everyone’s January “dryathlon” went well…until the 8th February that is!
After our gigantic Crimbo knees-up and Cumadisco NYE, we are back with another joint party. This time with the godfathers of East London basement parties: Disco Bloodbath. Future Sound of Clapton goes head to head with their residents, Ben Pistor and Damon Martin all night long.
DBB needs no explanation. Alongside their pals, Horse Meat Disco, they have quickly turned London into the disco capital of Europe since its inception in 2007.
I remember going to one of their first party at Passion (R.I.P.) and hearing Tako playing mental disco records that I’ve never heard of before and everyone was freaking out in that sweaty pink basement. Quite possibly the best party I’ve ever been.
Apart from their monthly basement jams, they also run relentless Disco Bloodbath Recordings and produce their own materials these days. Hand Plant and Waze & Odyssey releases have been the particular favourites at Comadisco last year.
We are VERY excited to finally make this happen and you know it’s going to be a corker. We have secured a 6am licence, a crystal-clear sound-system and our decorating team will make sure there’s plenty of disco atmosphere. As usual we shall reveal the details of the venue on the day of the party here. Bring your lovers, party poppers and good looking flatmates.
See you on the dancefloor!
